Halloween Party

I am the room parent for my son’s classroom and I planned the Halloween Party for his class. We had mummy juice boxes, pizza mummies, popcorn pumpkins, spooky bananas, pumpkin “fingers” (carrots), and pumpkin muffins. The kids drew skeletons on their place mats and enjoyed a halloween parade. My nose was shaped like a heart before my nose was itchy and I forgot I drew a nose on it.

2011 BlogHer Recap

The 2011 BlogHer conference was in San Diego, California this year. I met up with and roomed with 3 lovely ladies (Nancy, Shannon, Venessa). I’ll spare you the lengthly details and just post the photos.

Loved the rug at the San Diego Marriot Marquis Hotel.

Surrounded by SWAG.

Kelle Hampton (&Nella) & Myself.

Nancy and I before Sparklecorn.

Nails of BlogHer.

At The Marble Room. Great food!

Judy and I at the airport. Leaving.

PS- I’m pretty sure I lived in that scarf.

Just Cupcakin’

Had my first annual cupcake party, and it went awesome despite the low level of attendees. The cupcakes were great (to be quite modest) and I know what to do better for next year. So if you plan on coming next year, bring your A game because you’ll need it.

The winners were:

  1. 1st Linda with her double layered carrot cake cupcake.
  2. 2nd Jessica with her strawberry stargazer lily cupcake.
  3. 3rd Rhonda with her buttercream frosted guitar cupcake.
